MY CRABITAT LOOKS BORING. WHAT KIND OF NATURAL THINGS CAN I PUT IN THERE?

Some things that hermit crabs like that are natural are rocks, wood logs, small tunels, and wiring. Wiring is good for them to climb on, so make sure it has some holes for them to stick their legs through. They also like to hide in logs, but if you run into a problom like your hermit crabs are to big for it, don't get rid of it! You can always make a big hole by digging up the sand with the side of the log. Then use the extra sand [if you want to] to burry the top of the log. Then your bigger hermit crabs will be able to fit. Problom solved!

MY TANK IS COLD AND MY HERMIT CRABS AREN'T VERY ACTIVE. WHY?

In the wild, hermit crabs live on beaches, and it is usaully warm there. [i think] So your hermit crabs aren't active? Because it is cold. They perphere there tempatures between 75-85 degrees. They also don't like bright light, so if you have a bright desk light, put it somewhere else.

WHAT ARE SOME WAYS FOR ME TO HEAT MY TANK?

Some ways to heat your tank is to just buy a heater. Most pet stores carry them and make sure you get the right size. The one I have works really well and is also very east to use. It sticks to the bottom of the tank and as long as you keep it plugged in it will always be on.

Where should i put it?

You should put it on the bottom, on ONE side. That way the crabs can choose which side they want to go to, depending on the weather.
