Getting to know your hermit crab

If you just got a new hermit crab and he is not as fun as you thought he might be, I know a method that just might work for you to GET TO KNOW YOUR HERMIT CRAB. If you just got your hermit crab within a day or two, first of all, he is probly very stressed. This stress comes from either a bad pet store, two small of shell, or most of all, the transpertation. To get your hermit crab to relax, put him in his cage and leave him alone for a while, and let him do his own thing. After a day, you may let him out to play with him. The best method, Iv'e noticed is to put him in the palm of your hand and wait until he comes out. If you notice that your crab is sticking "out" of his shell he probobly needs a bigger shell. Tip: Painted shells are harder for them to breath in!
